Flow Through Vacuum Hold Down Technology |
 |
With a high-volume vacuum pump on a CNC
router and flow-through vacuum work holding, there is
virtually zero setup time in a nested-based work
cell. This work cell can literally produce one part at the
same rate it can produce one hundred.
This is a critical advantage over manual
machines that need to be adjusted for every part or series
of parts.
This also has a big advantage over a CNC
point-to-point machine because there are no individual
programs to write or load, no rails to adjust, and no
special considerations to be made for through-cutting.
Keep in mind that no machine in any shop
makes a dime for its company unless the tool is into work!
If a machine is down for programming, set-up, maintenance,
etc. it isn’t making money. |

Dedicated Fixture Boards |
 |
Superior holding on parts that cannot be
held with flow through vacuum technology, allows for precise
vacuum placement and enables full side machining.
A dedicated spoilboard is machined for a
specific part(s) with air port holes to allow for vacuum to
pull directly on the material. With the use of a gasket to
seal off a particular section of a table, the vacuum holes
are opened under the specified area allowing for direct
suction on the part(s). The fixture can easily be placed and
removed from the table to allow for ease of machine setup. |

Modular Pod System |
 |
With the universal grid
table system, Komo offers you the ability to use pods to
raise parts off the table and allow for full side machining.
The pods tie directly into the vacuum table allowing for
dedicated suction on each part.
Similar to a dedicated fixture, these
pods can be easily configured to any position you need.
Measure them out on the table or incorporate an overhead
laser system for quick and easy setup. |

Automated Extrusion Fixture System |
 |
This extrusion clamping
system allows for quick and reliable holding of aluminum
extrusions. Simply load your extrusion and the ready light
will illuminate once it is positioned correctly. Then just
push the button and the clamps activate to give you a
powerful hold.
This system is available in either a
10 foot or 12 foot model. |

Custom Clamping Solutions |
 |
Looking for a way to
hold your custom part, Komo has the answer by being able to
design custom work holding solutions. Our custom clamping
system can be hydraulic or pneumatic and takes the worry
about holding odd shaped parts.
Contact Komo Machine for any custom
clamping solution. |

Pressure Foot System |
 |
Using Komo Machine's Pressure Foot System it is
now easier then ever to machine multiple sheets of aluminum in one
machining process. This innovative idea starts with our Router-CIM
Automation Suite programming software which automates the process of
nesting parts, placing tabs and creating tab removal cycles.
This innovative process will immediately
increase your throughput and give you the productivity gains you
demand. |

Roller Hold Down System |
 |
Designed to process stacked sheets of
material, Komo’s roller hold-down system is ideal for
furniture manufacturers, boat builders and RV manufacturers.
Simple, reliable proximity switch
electronics provides automatic raising and lowering of the
roller platens. No control interface is required.
The roller hold-down option may be included
in new machine purchases or retrofitted to selected single
table Komo CNC router models. |
